Construction

When looking at outdoor chairs, it’s important to invest in well-made furniture that is low maintenance – for your own sanity. Both the Outer Banks Deluxe and St. Lucia Adirondacks are very similar in frame, in fact, these may be two of our most matched Adirondack chair models yet! Looking at the specifications of each, you can see these chairs are pretty on par with each other when it comes to their size.

While both of these chairs do have a folding frame that makes storage and transporting the chairs easier than fixed models, the St. Lucia Adirondack chair has a small stainless chain located at the front of the legs that steadies the chair from folding.

Poly Lumber

One of the biggest differences between these two models is the poly lumber. Although it’s very similar, there is a slight variation between the poly lumber used in these two chairs. Both are smooth to the touch, not significantly textured, but if you have purchased our poly lumber furniture in the past, you will notice a very slight difference in the way they feel.

When it comes to matching up colors, the photo above features the St. Lucia in Holiday Red (chair) and Deluxe’s poly lumber in Bright Red (board). You can see the slight variation in the grain patterns and how close these colors are.

The St. Lucia and Deluxe Adirondack chairs both come in a variety of colors that will satisfy all design styles for your patio. If you have any questions about pairing St. Lucia colors with your existing ECCB Outdoor furniture, please call our customer care team at 800-687-5086 or use the chat function on our website.

Built-In Features

Both chairs are made to relax, which includes having everything you need at the tip of your fingers! Each model features a 3” diameter cup holder in the right arm and a wine glass/smartphone holder in the left arm, both of which can be folded in when not in use. We consider these standard features on most of our Adirondack chairs, which is different from a lot of other companies that require you to buy these separately and attach them yourself.

Price Point

We aim to provide the highest quality poly lumber Adirondack chairs and outdoor furniture at the best price for all budgets. You will notice that our most popular Outer Banks Deluxe Adirondack Chair is priced slightly higher on some color options, whereas the St. Lucia model is a consistent price throughout the colors.
